Menstrual Matters

Statistics today suggest that homeless women, are the most adversely affected population when it comes to having access to sanitary products, as there is often little to no funding provided for women living on the streets struggling to maintain their hygiene. At More Than A Refugee we are working to address this plight, one woman at a time.

On the 23rd of November MTAR was able to make a substantial donation (due to the kindness of our donors) of 90 sanitary products (with chocolates) to 30 homeless women and young girls, seeking refuge at the Samaritan House in White Plains, New York.
